Bids Manager – Professional Services
Job Type: Business Development
Working across the whole firm this role will be based within a central team of 4 people responsible for the bid and tender work.
Work with the other members of the wider business development and marketing functions to support partners in the the strategic bid, tender and pitch process.
Promote quality of thinking and performance that truly adds value to each proposition, both in terms of content and presentation.
Objectively analyse incoming pitch and bid proposals from clients and advise partners on the best approach and the business information needed.
Work as an internal consultant, coaching stakeholders and group heads involved in winning new business in the skills of developing competitive, commercial tenders.
Project manage a spectrum of bids simultaneously, including encouraging and leading meetings, agreeing strategy and messaging, drafting and reviewing content from a marketing perspective and coaching teams on winning bids.
Candidates will have previous bids and tender experience at manager level, but the firm are open to candidates from outside the professional services sector if they have a solid knowledge of how this business process operates.
