When we collect information and from whom

We collect this through our website "contact us" section, or when you call or email us directly.

Why we need this information

We need this information to deal with your initial enquiry, and register you on our systems, and begin the initial contact process with you.

How long we will keep a copy of this information

We will hold this information when we are actively dealing with and for 36 months afterwards for tax reasons. Please note even if you ask us delete you from our customer database we do legally still need to keep a copy of your contact details for 22 months after the end of that financial year for tax compliance reasons, although we will no longer be in contact with you directly.

How we use your personal information

We use the personal information that we have obtained for a number of specific reasons:

— To contact you with regards to our business
— To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations
— For the legitimate business interests of Marketing People which include:
i) maintaining and improving our services; understanding the effectiveness of our advertising and business strategies;
ii) to keep in touch with you for marketing purposes and inform you of relevant opportunities that may be of interest unless you have asked us not to

Whilst we do not compel you to provide us with information, if you do not provide us with information it may affect our ability to perform the services to the best of our ability. We will try to explain why we need the information that we are requesting, but please ask us if you are unsure

Sharing Information

We do not share your contact details with any third party business directly. We may in the future share analytics information from visitors to our website with search engine providers to assist us to improve or optimise our website. If we do implement cookies on our website our Cookie Policy will be updated accordingly for you to view in the public domain.

We may also disclose your personal information to third parties where we are under a duty to share your personal information to comply with a legal obligation, or to enforce or apply our terms of use, or for the purpose of fraud protection or identification management.

Keeping your personal information secure and confidential

We recognise that you are sharing confidential information with us, and all information that you provide to us, or we collect about you, is stored on secure servers. We have in place physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure your information.

Our staff have limited access to your data, and are trained to ensure that it is protected, and kept secure. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. We do not store your information for longer than is necessary to provide the service, and to ensure that we have appropriate auditable records for business purposes.

You have the right to request that we provide you with access to your own personal information, and for us to explain our processing of your personal information. This is known as a subject access request. We may charge a fee for this in some circumstances.

Additionally, you may request that we:

— Correct any inaccurate information we hold about you
— Delete information that we hold in certain situations
— stop using your personal information for certain purposes; including for marketing communications with you
— that decisions about you are not made by wholly automated means

This privacy information notice is subject to the laws of England, and the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. If you are domiciled in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland it can be enforced in your local court system.
